Epicenter: Bush reunites in Fontana
By Vanessa Franko on September 25, 2010 6:17 PM With a roar of the crowd, Bush kicked off it reunion show at the Epicenter Festival at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana with the classic track "Machinehead."
Frontman Gavin Rossdale stood in nearly the same spot as he did in February 2009 when he played a solo set before a NASCAR race at the complex.
In an interview last week he said he had thought about how cool it would be if Bush played here. Now the band is back and is.
The band has the biggest stage set f the day so far. They have ramps going up either side of the stage to where drummer Robin Goodridge is pounding away.
Up now is another hit off the multi-platinum album "Sixteen Stone." It is "Little Things."
Rossdale jumped off the stage during the guitar solo and into the barricade separating the throng of fans from the stage.
Rossdale said the set would be primarily Bush's hits and little new material, but he said the band would play new single "Afterlife."
